The Mission team (and church volunteers) hosted a “take-out” Thanksgiving Mission Meal for the thirty-one (31) Elm House residents on Thursday 11/12/20. The Mission team continues to provide these meals once a month during the current pandemic, alternating between Elm House and Louisiana House.
With the holiday season upon us, we have decided to provide a meal for both houses in November and December so that we could celebrate the love and beauty of GOD together with our community families! This month the meal consisted of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry relish and a roll.
The meal would not have been complete without pumpkin pie, a “goodie bag” of candy and a Thanksgiving blessing. These holiday meals have become part of a long standing tradition at First Presbyterian Church of Perrysburg!
On Friday 111/20, another “take-out” Thanksgiving Mission Meal will be provided for the fifty (50) Louisiana House residents.
